In the other two books from the Chronicles of Athas by Abbey Lynn, king Hamanu of Urik is a bit of an enigma, always in the background of events. In the last book of the series, this is about to change - the Lion King of Urik has to choose between saving himself and saving his city ... Hey, if you think I took it easy with this synopsis, you're probably right (then again, I didn't leave out too much either :-). |

This book closes the trilogy on Athas written by Abbey Lynn - hence it's only natural that it relies heavily on the previous two titles. The story itself makes a nice conclusion to the other two books, hence I rate the trilogy as good.
